Zak's first release came out in 2001 on Film Guerrero under the name Peace Harbor. He is also a member of the band Grails (Neurot Recordings) and second guitar player for the M. Ward band. "Dredge" was recorded at Type Foundry by Adam Selzer and Jason Powers in 2003. Players include Jordan Hudson (Thermals), James Adair & Ben Nugent (Dolorean), Timothy Horner (Grails), Kyle Field (Little Wings), Adam Selzer (Norfolk & Western), Rob Kieswetter (Bobby Birdman), Amy Anelle (The Places), and many others.
