Brian was born in NJ in the year 1973. He writes songs from the head and the gut. His lyrics contain an abstract precision that can be interpreted differently by every listener. Brian splits his time between music and visual art in and around Boston, Massachusetts.

The Deer are an ever-growing cast of friends who drop in to play songs. They make a sort of Rock-Folk that some call Americana. The goal is for every performance to be a spontaneous and unique experience. “Inventory” was recorded by Jim Reynolds in a basement studio on the grounds of a wonderful historic estate in Leominster, MA. Work began in June of 2004 with the idea of making a loose and relaxed honest record.

The first edition of 1,000 copies of "Inventory" will come housed in a letterpress packaging which will be hand-numbered and include a mini-Inventory tag that'll be signed by Brian Michael Roff.
